This page contains downloadable text files which can be loaded onto any newer iPod (except for iPod shuffles) and read directly from the screen. Any iPod with a dock connector can use these notes files. Please email us if you have any problems installing or using them and we will help you out.

SAN DIEGO AA MEETING LIST

RELEASE NOTES

Abbreviated common items like Big Book (BB), Step Study (SS), Meeting (Mtg), Group (Grp), Speakers (SPKRS). Omitted dispensable words from meeting titles, including day of meeting and meeting city. All meeting cities can still be found at the bottom of the listing. In some cases, the words "Mens","Womens", or "Closed" have been removed from the title but this information is all retained in the meeting codes. All codes (Closed, Men's, Women's, Gay/Lesbian, etc) have been retained. All information on meeting location has been retained. Nothing necessary has been omitted.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

After downloading the file above, open it and a folder entitled "iPod AA San Diego 1.1" should appear. This folder contains two files - a text file entitled "AA Meetings - San Diego" and a folder entitled "z. Meetings". Both of these need to be copied to the Notes folder on your iPod.

If your iPod does not appear as a hard drive when attached to your computer, go into iTunes and make sure that "Enable Disk Use" is checked. Once enabled, Disk Use allows you to access your iPod as if it is a hard drive. Open it up, and among other folders you should see one entitled "Notes". Copy both the text file and the folder from the iPodAA San Diego folder into the Notes folder. That's it! To access the list from your iPod, go to Extras -> Notes -> AA Meetings - San Diego. Use it just like a website - use the wheel to select the day of week and time you want, then push the center button to go to the listing of those meetings.
